St. Louis Homes & Lifestyles magazine awarded Directions In Design, Inc. the Gold Winner for the 2011 Beautiful Baths contest in the 180 sq. ft and above category. Designer Jane Ganz and her staff transformed the master bathroom in the vacation home of her St. Louis clients into a luxurious escape. The August 2011 issue hit stands on July 25th and includes a four page feature on the contest and it’s winners including project descriptions, photographs, and judges comments on the Platinum and Gold medal award-winning work.

The judge’s panel of the 2011 St. Louis Homes & Lifestyles Bath of the Year contest consisted of the following design enthusiasts: Dave Dupree, third-generation owner of Modern Kitchens and Baths; Mark Dysart, Industry Partner ASID, co-owner of Marc Christian Fine Cabinetry; Gigi Lombrano, ASID, NICDQ, designer for Frank Patton Interiors and president-elect for the Missouri-East chapter of ASID; Ashleigh Schroeder, AKBD, NICDQ, designer for National Kitchen & Bath, Inc.

The competition was open to all owners/designers of  any new or remodeled bath completed between May 2009 and May 2011. Judges selections were based on aesthetics, functionality, originality, design details and space planning.
