St. Louis based Directions In Design, Inc. recently completed interior design and installation services for two Freedom Home display models for The Village at Park Place in Winghaven®. The Village at Park Place will offer homeowners 55 and over the opportunity to live and retire while enjoying the “Lifeworks” experience. Freedom Home residents are invited to choose options from the many amenities and services offered by the Park Place Community.
The Village at Park Place models are located within a 30 home site platte. Directions In Design’s staff was responsible for refining the floor plan and selecting the exterior coloration regarding roofing materials, paint colors and brick coloration. Interior design duties encompassed choosing the color palettes as well as flooring materials, millwork/cabinetry, lighting, hardware, furnishings, window treatments and accessories.
Both floor plans are finished in a “transitional” style. Each model has two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main level. Model A, Tuscan like in color palette and theme, has a bit more of an open floor plan featuring vaulted ceilings. Model A includes an additional family room and bath in the lower level. In the B Model, the formal dining room allows downsizing empty-nesters the ability to utilize dining room furniture. Both models showcase fireplaces with flat screen televisions appropriate for easy living yet active lifestyles. The models and homes are being built by O’Fallon based Dettmer Homes.
